Xi Jinping stayed at a hotel near Botanichesky Sad metro station

According to the correspondent RIA News , the Chinese leader near the hotel was greeted by dozens of people. Some of them held a banner in Chinese: “Warmly welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia.”

At the moment, the area in front of the park and Huaming Business Center is cordoned off and guarded by reinforced police squads. According to the news agency, Xi Jinping and members of his delegation will stay at a five-star hotel in the park. It is the first luxury hotel in Moscow of the Chinese chain Soluxe. In front, the landscape around the Imperial Palace in China is recreated in miniature, guests have constant access to all the PRC’s television channels and other information resources.

Earlier, it was reported that the Chinese leader’s plane landed at Vnukovo airport in the capital. Xi Jinping is due to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin. The parties will sign a number of official documents and make important statements to the media.
