St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov tried to “deny” the city’s shoddy snow clearing in court.

Recall that the previous lawyer Irina Bakhanovich filed a lawsuit against the mayor and Smolny due to the lack of effective street cleaning. It happened after a bus stuck in a snowdrift on Vasilyevsky Island had to be dug up by local residents.

“The lawsuit was filed after I arrived at my destination for almost an hour and a half instead of the usual 30 minutes. The same thing happens year after year and I’m just fed up. The complaints to the portal ( “Our St. Petersburg”) and to the departments do not give any results, we only receive answers, ”Bakhanovich explained.

During the hearing, Beglov representatives first transferred the responsibility for the poor cleaning to Komblag, and then to the contractor of the St. The only problem is that the committee belongs to the Smolny, just like the Center, which has was created by the Property Relations Committee.

Recall that on January 17 of this year, the office of the prosecutor of the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg confirmed the fact of poor snow removal in the city.
