In Chukotka, two people died when a snowmobile crashed into a bridge during a heavy snowstorm. On this subject report “New news” in reference to the regional directorate of the Ministry of the Interior.

According to police, the driver of the Arctic Cat snowmobile was 25 years old and the passenger was 31 years old. They attempted to pass under the bridge in bad weather, but the driver could not calculate the distance and collided with one of the bridge’s superstructures.

The Interior Ministry said the driver was not allowed to drive a snowmobile, the vehicle was not registered. Before the fatal accident, the driver had already been brought to administrative liability: once for driving without a license in an unregistered vehicle and twice for a traffic violation.

March 13 Karelia traffic police reported The 43-year-old driver of the “Buran” snowmobile hit a snowdrift in the Lukhsky district, after which he rolled over. The man died at the scene before the ambulance arrived.
