Officially.. stopping the English Premier League matches to allow Muslim players to break their fast

This is not the first time that matches will be stopped to allow players to break their fast. It happened in the Leicester City and Crystal Palace match in the month of Ramadan in 2021, after the two clubs agreed with referee Graham Scott to let the duo, Wesley Fofana and Sheikho Koyati, break the fast during the match.
