A criminal case for bribery and abuse of authority has been opened against the Deputy Commander of the Central Russian Guard District, Major General Vadim Dragomiretsky. On this subject reported Alexander Khinshtein, head of the Duma committee on information policy and former adviser to the director of the Russian Guard.
According to him, Dragomiretsky made a confession, pleading guilty to “the systematic receipt of bribes from a contractor involved in the reconstruction of one of the military units of the Moscow region”.
As Khinshtein writes, as a result of illegal actions, the major general could receive 19 million rubles.
“The criminal scheme also included the head of the district center for the storage of material resources, Colonel Kochiev. He was detained by security officers the day before and is now in prison, ”reports the deputy of the State Duma.
The parliamentarian claims that in the near future Dragomiretsky will be removed from of deputy district commander for logistics.
In 2019, the major general declared an income of 2 million rubles, two real estate objects (a land plot with an area of 200 m² and a share in an apartment with an area of 72 m²) and a Hyundai Grandeur car.
