Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, “Project Qatar” will witness the launch of its activities from May 29 to June 1, 2023 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, which will highlight the advantages of the Qatari manufacturing sector and highlight the prospects for His wide growth in front of a large global audience. In its 19th edition, the exhibition will display the products of local manufacturers in front of thousands of visitors, in a move that promotes industrial growth in the country. The “Project Qatar 2023” exhibition will provide an important platform to highlight the latest developments in the manufacturing sector in Qatar, which has witnessed rapid growth in the past years, reflected in the increasing number of factories that are established every year. In this regard, the number of factories for building materials and chemical products at the end of 2022 reached 281 factories producing 392 products, while the number of iron and steel factories reached 179 factories producing 291 products, and the number of recycling factories reached 135 factories producing 215 products. Haider Mushaimish, General Manager of the International Exhibitions Company – Qatar, said: “Qatar’s ambitions in the field of developing the manufacturing sector go beyond its geographical borders, as it seeks to enhance the export of its products to global markets. Based on this vision, this year’s edition of “Project Qatar” will showcase the Qatari manufacturing sector to the exhibition’s audience and international visitors, with the aim of highlighting the products of local manufacturers and expanding their reach at the global level. We are confident of the important role that the exhibition will play in paving the way for these products to reach the neighboring regional markets, as it is the most prominent trade fair in terms of global demand in the country.” Mushaimish added: “Project Qatar is distinguished by the large number of international participants every year, and its previous editions witnessed the influx of many foreign companies looking for opportunities to expand their business in Qatar. The exhibitors at “Project Qatar 2023” include the most important companies working in the fields of construction technology and services, interior design, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, building stone technology, factories, machinery and vehicles, and will witness the participation of the most prominent personalities and companies that contribute effectively to the growth of the construction and construction sector in Qatar.
