Vladimir Putin can proclaim a new path for Russia’s development.
This opinion was expressed by economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to the radio “Moscow speaks”.
As the expert explained, the head of state can announce the so-called “left turn”, that is, a sharp increase in the priority of social policy in Russia. In other words, as Khazin said, the authorities will have to start paying more attention to citizens.
First of all, according to the economist, the state will have to pay attention to the most vulnerable and unprotected segments of the population. In order to accelerate the implementation of this policy, the State will have to find new sources of its financing, notes the specialist.
Most likely, according to Khazin, the money for this will be redirected from areas that have already lost their relevance in 2022 and 2023. In particular, the state will no longer support the oligarchs as it has done in recent years, believes the ‘economist.
“One should not expect a complete ‘dispossession’ of the ruling class, because Putin does not like such a method, however, the redirection of budget flows will certainly be in the direction of the ‘social program’ and the president will follow closely monitor this. Under the new system, Russia will truly live in a new way,” the expert said.
