Two Russian soldiers were injured after shelling from Azerbaijan

Two Russian soldiers were injured as a result of shelling from Azerbaijan, according to a number of sources from the Armenian segment of the Network. It will be specified that the incident took place in Syunik. The official confirmation of this information is the Internet.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, on the eve of a serviceman of the country’s army, while transporting food to a combat position by car, he got lost in conditions of poor visibility. As a result, he found himself in the territory controlled by Azerbaijan.

According to unconfirmed reports, a detachment was sent to search for the serviceman, which included Russian fighters stationed in Goris. Despite the initial agreement, Azerbaijani military opened fire on them, Armenian sources said. The Russian army car was reportedly the target of fire in Syunik. At the same time, it is clarified that the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued a refutation of the information about the capture of an Armenian soldier.

It is also reported that two Russian soldiers were injured. The doctors fought for their lives during the night, but one of the fighters died. The Russian military department has not yet commented on reports of the incident.

  • A soldier who was lost on March 21 while delivering food to a combat position by car was found on March 22 following search and rescue operations. The serviceman’s life is not in danger, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
