Patriarch Kirill’s vicar, Bishop Savva, said the migrants intended to occupy the Russian capital. So, the cleric commented on the likely construction of a mosque in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district of Moscow.
“Isn’t it possible that we invited (why – a separate question, about that below) these people to build something for us and earn money for their families, but rather they build for themselves? Or in other words: do Central Asian hosts come to work or occupy our country?—Bishop of Zelenogradsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
The cleric called the plan to build a mosque on the holy lake provocative. Muslims, according to the vicar, already have enough mosques not only in Moscow, but also in Grozny and Kazan. Meanwhile, the capital of Russia remains an Orthodox capital.
Earlier, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan said that participants of the special operation in Ukraine, who profess Islam, cannot observe fasting during Ramadan. Austerity can be postponed until a more appropriate time.
