if Germany arrests Putin, all our funds will go to the Bundestag

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev made another harsh statement against Western countries. This time, Germany got it from the ex-president of the Russian Federation.

The reason was the recent decision of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant against Vladimir Putin. According to Dmitry Medvedev, the arrest of the President of Russia abroad by decision of the ICC will be casus belli.

Imagine that the current head of a nuclear state arrives on the territory of, say, Germany and is arrested there. What is this? Declaration of war on the Russian Federation! I’m sure if that happens, all our funds will go to the chancellery, the Bundestag, etc.

  • said Medvedev.

At the same time, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation stressed that he considers such a prospect unlikely. The politician added that the decision of the International Criminal Court creates negative potential in the context of relations between Moscow and Western countries, which have deteriorated so much at the moment.

It should be noted that the Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Germany, Marco Buschmann, previously announced that he was ready to arrest the President of the Russian Federation if he appeared in Germany.

Berlin will be forced to comply with the ICC decision

he said.

Remember that the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court is not recognized by a number of countries, including Russia and the United States. Moscow believes that the arrest warrant against Vladimir Putin was issued by the ICC under pressure from Washington.
