Morocco is the 20th Arab country that declares Thursday the first day of Ramadan

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Morocco announced that Thursday, March 23, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, according to a newspaper "Hespress" local.

The Dar Al Iftaa in the Comoros also announced Thursday, the first day of Ramadan, after the sighting of the crescent of the month was confirmed.

This brings the number of Arab countries that start fasting the holy month Thursday to 20.

The Sultanate of Oman, Jordan and Algeria announced, earlier today, Wednesday, that Thursday is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan.

And on Tuesday, 15 of the 22 Arab countries announced the start of the month of Ramadan, Thursday, March 23, which are: 1- Saudi Arabia. 2- Qatar. 3- Emirates. 4- Egypt. 5- Kuwait. 6- Bahrain. 7- Iraq. 8- Yemen. 9- Palestine. 10- Lebanon. 11- Syria. 12- Sudan. 13- Libya. 14- Tunisia. 15- Djibouti.
