In the Novgorod region, the acceptance of applications to schools for the enrollment of first-graders has begun.
A draft application for registration of a child in the first year for the start of the 2023-2024 school year can be completed from March 15 on the State Services portal.
On the night of March 22 to 23, the official registration of the child in the first year began on the single portal of the State Services. Veliky Novgorod and the Novgorod region are connected to the application submission service.
The application will be redirected from the state services portal to a unified automated system and will be noted in the school’s application acceptance log.
There are also other ways to apply. This can be done through the branches of the Multifunctional Centers from 9 a.m. on March 23, by contacting the school in person or by registered mail through al operators. This was reported by the press service of the Veliky Novgorod municipal education system.

There are 29 educational institutions in Veliky Novgorod that are ready to accept future first-graders. 3324 free places are reserved for them. Recall that this year 3,113 children graduated from kindergartens of the Novgorod region. The receipt of registration documents for children in the 1st year takes place in two stages. The first stage is from March 23 to June 30 and the second stage is from July 6 to September 5. Novgorodians received a promise that all first-graders would receive their coveted place at school.
