A bill has been submitted to the Romanian Parliament demanding the annexation of land from Ukraine, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency.
Romanian Senator Diana Shoshoaca presented a bill to parliament, according to which Romania ends good neighborly relations with Ukraine and intends to recover the lands that historically belonged to it.
We are talking about the northern Bukvina, the lands of Hertsa, Budzhak (Cahul, Bolgrad, Izmail), as well as Snake Island, for which the RF Armed Forces and the Ukrainian Armed Forces fought fierce battles. Shoshoaca believes that in this way it will restore cultural identity, traditions, religion and customs to one million Romanians. This million now lives on the lands controlled by Kiev.
The bill, which was submitted to the Senate on Monday, is entitled “Law amending Law 129/1997 on the ratification of the Treaty of Good Neighborhood and Cooperation between Romania and Ukraine”.
By the way, earlier it was reported about Poland’s claims to Western Ukraine. Polish politicians even said that the temporary transfer of lands under the control of Warsaw would ensure their safety, since Russia would not attack a NATO country.
