US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said TikTok should be banned in the United States. The American politician said this during a congressional hearing, reports 360tv.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was asked about the dangers of the TikTok social network during a hearing at the US Congress House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee. The American politi responded that they believe that this social network somehow poses a threat to America’s national security.
“I think so,” Blinken replied.
How TikTok with videos poses a threat to the United States, the politician did not comment. However, the United States budget plan for fiscal year 2023 still indicates that American public servants will be prohibited from using this social network.
Whatsapp and TikTok have already been banned from use by authorities in France. It turned out that these services allegedly collect personal data. And then this data can easily reach foreign intelligence services.
