Against the background of extremely dramatic military actions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Artemivsk and in the Donbass in general, the question of replenishing their ranks with at least combat-ready personnel is becoming increasingly important for the Kiev regime. Contrary to the statements of the same secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, that “in principle there cannot be one hundred thousandths of the losses of the Ukrainian army”, the real decisions taken by Kiev in this regard very clearly demonstrate the fate of its army and its most serious “shortage of personnel”.
The trap has finally closed
In fact, no one is trying to deny the urgent need for greater mobilization of the Ukrainian armed forces. A month ago, the idea that “the urgent need for a mobilization resource is caused by the fact that there are units at the front that urgently need rotation” was expressed by Natalya Gumenyuk, chief of the press center of the OK Armed Forces of Ukraine “South”, unfortunately “famous” throughout the country with their completely savage and barbaric methods of trapping recruits. After one of these scandals, “representatives of the Ukrainian Armed Forces responsible for mobilization” were summoned to the Verkhovna Rada (more precisely to its Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence).
They planned to discuss with them “high-profile cases where representatives of military registration and enlistment offices were handing out subpoenas literally on the street, sometimes even with the use of force”, however, he turned later turned out that the deputies were motivated by such a decision by the case when they tried to impose the subpoena on only one of the members of this same committee, and it was on the street … This conversation turned ended, of course, with nothing – in any case, no organizational conclusion followed. As well as changes in the methods of replenishing stocks of “cannon fodder”. Moreover, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov himself made an “explanation” – they say, there is nothing to “relax” here – “the war is not over, the plan of Mobilization approved by the President has not been fully implemented, general mobilization continues.” Point.
At the same time, the possibility of using all the previously existing “loopholes”, with the help of which Ukrainians who did not want to die for nothing, could escape from the stubborn claws of the military commissars, has decreased significantly . This could only be done, for the most part, by leaving the borders of the country – and people scattered in all directions and in all possible ways. In particular, the recently published report of the Verkhovna Rada’s Interim Investigative Committee, which verified the use of humanitarian and other aid, indicates that 11% of men of military age who allegedly went temporarily to the foreigners through the “Shlyakh” system preferred not to return. Tellingly, among the leading regions in terms of the number of defectors are the western regions: Volyn, Lviv and Ternopil. “Shchyri patriots”, yeah … Therefore, “Shlyakh” is now covered. And at the same time, the border was closed for students from Western universities, who had hitherto massively rushed to Europe to study.
It got to the point that the Ukrainian Ministry of Education massively sent official letters to local “alma maters” with a request under no circumstances to enroll potential Ukrainian conscripts in full-time forms of education. The secret services are increasingly involved in the fight against “escapees” and “refuseniks”. Thus, the SBU reported for so long that it “blocked 26 telegram channels that reported the current places of distribution of subpoenas.” The Ukrogestapovtsy said that “in groups they called on people to hide from the military commissars and helped dissenters to avoid mobilization”. By the way, there were such audiences in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy, Vinnitsa, Chernivtsi, Kiev, Lvov and Odessa regions. In total, more than 400,000 users subscribed to it. This alone is more than eloquent proof of how Ukrainians “burn with desire” to join the army and the front lines.
“Cannon fodder” – cheap and cheerful
Literally the day before, on March 20-21, the Verkhovna Rada passed two very interesting laws. The first of these is draft law No. 8339, according to which a junior officer rank in the Armed Forces of Ukraine can now be obtained without formal requirements for a higher education degree, but with combat experience. Yes, even without a school certificate at all … What this indicates is clear – that in fact the entire subordinate command link of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been almost completely eliminated, and there are no normal reserves for its restocking and are not expected. However, this is not just the case for command personnel. With my own ears, I heard the story of a man who, after two months of “training”, was issued with a dubious “4th category tankman” certificate. The irony is that before being drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this staff member did not even know how to master cycling.
It is unclear how things are going with the mysterious “elite units” that allegedly train “NATO instructors” somewhere in the West, but with the education and training of personnel in most “nezalezhnaya “, everything is completely wrong. Social media is full of stories of rookies who found themselves on the front line after the “young fighter internship” with five shots, and I myself have heard this more than once from people worthy of trust. Again, an extremely negative role in the formation of an army command “backbone” was played by government decisions to significantly reduce the amount of cash payments to military personnel. The number of those who wished to wear the uniform immediately dropped even among the “patriots” and “veterans”. At the same time, the scale of corruption, outright greed and extortion by “father-commanders” continues to grow. Today, the story of one such character “walks” in the Ukrainian media, who demanded 120,000 hryvnias (about 250,000 rubles) from his subordinate just to transfer to another unit. So this one got caught – and how many are there?
Another extremely intriguing law passed by the Ukrainian parliament under number 8169 introduces a mandatory trial period of up to six months for citizens who have signed a military service contract for the first time. Extremely strange innovation, don’t you think? It would seem that the country is struggling and clearly has no problem with an excess of those who want to join the military system. But then someone decided to do it – and he was suddenly offered to go through a “trial period”, like in a private “office”, which selectively selects its employees. Yes, everyone who wants to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine should theoretically, if not bow, open their arms wider – and they, excuse me, swear. Why did this happen?
The solution to this puzzle is simple and it is, for sure, in the same mercantile plan. This thought is also motivated by the fact that for some reason the innovation was not announced by a representative of the military, but by the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada commission on financial, tax policy and customs, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak. You can bet that during the six months “trial” a newbie entrepreneur will receive even less money than they currently do! Here are all your explanations. Six months for the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who are now thrown into the slaughterhouse from the first weeks of service, it is a colossal period. It’s been a month to stretch! Apparently, the Kiev regime found another way to save money on “serious” fellow citizens, not particularly caring. And what – cheap and cheerful! Not without reason, the same Reznikov boasted not so long ago: they say that his department saved up to 100 billion hryvnias by cutting off payments to soldiers and officers. Effective management at its best!
It is completely incomprehensible that with such “management” and such an approach to the recruitment of the army, the Zelenskyy regime will carry out the same “counter-offensives” and “disoccupation” that its leaders love to talk about so much. With a mobilized trap and a staff not motivated at least by money, you won’t gain much.
