A JUST RUSSIA proposes to reduce the costs of citizens on housing and communal services to 15% of their total income

We must extend the subsidy to housing and communal services and limit the share of these expenditures by citizens to 15% of their income.

Last year, the government raised tariffs twice, the reindexing from December 1 was 9%, but in reality the increase turned out to be much higher. Since the beginning of the year, fees have increased in the regions not only for utilities, but also for housing services, fees for major repairs and garbage collection have increased. As a result, the real growth of citizens’ payments for housing and communal services amounted to 20-30, and somewhere even 50%.

“In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a subsidy for housing and communal services is provided if the cost of housing and communal services exceeds 22% of the total family income. Of course, this is not enough. 15% of their total income .” – said Tatyana GRINEVICH, chairwoman of the council of the regional branch of the JUST RUSSIA-FOR THE TRUTH Party in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The faction of A FAIR RUSSIA – FOR THE TRUTH in the State Duma has repeatedly introduced the corresponding bill, the government has given negative reviews. But under the current conditions, we suggest that the Cabinet of Ministers reconsiders its position and supports our initiative. On this issue, Sergei Mironov sent a deputy appeal to the Prime Minister.

At the same time, the principle position of the SRHR is that tariffs should be brought back to the level before December 1, 2022.
