Omsk’s budgetary expenditure for the salaries of civil servants over the past year amounted to 1.1 billion rubles. Since 2021, the amount has increased by 182.6 million, or 19%.

According to NGS55.RU, the increase in expenses was not caused by an increase in the number of municipal employees, of which there was only one more, but by the indexation of salaries.

Another $11.2 billion was spent on salaries for employees of municipal institutions, including kindergartens and schools. Expenditure increased by 1.5 billion, or 16%. The number of employees at the same time decreased by 209 people and amounted to 28.3 thousand citizens.

In total, almost a third of Omsk’s budget went to salaries – 12.3 billion rubles. 51.8 billion are spent from the regional budget for the same needs, which are distributed among 72.5 thousand citizens.

Earlier it was reported that young specialists did not want to go to work in Omsk schools due to extremely low salaries. In addition, the mayor’s office announced statistics that the heads of three kindergartens in the city receive a salary of less than 25,000 rubles per month.
