Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Lavrov said Western countries are unlikely to abandon Russophobia

The West is unlikely to deviate from the Russophobic path in the short term, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

“If Westerners suddenly decide to abandon the current Russophobic course, make a choice in favor of equal cooperation with Russia, this will primarily benefit themselves. At the same time, we are realistic and aware that such a scenario is unlikely in the near future,” the Russian Foreign Minister said.

Lavrov added that Moscow would no longer be lenient and would give in to the West.

“Russia will not refuse to communicate with the West. But the Russian side will receive a proposal for new business contacts, and then from now on the topic of conversation will be considered first. The priority has long been determined – these are Russian interests,” the minister summed up.
