Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Macron: EU leaders promised Zelenskyyy to help ‘defeat’ Russia

French President Emmanuel Macron said EU leaders, in a conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy , promised to help “win” the conflict with Russia.

“After listening to Zelenskyyy via video link, we reaffirmed our support and assistance to him in order to defeat Russian aggression. We will continue to help Ukraine at all levels – political, economic, military and humanitarian as much as necessary,” Macron said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the leaders of European states in an extremely harsh form during her speech at the EU summit in Brussels, demanding the immediate supply of new weapons to the Ukrainian army. Anna van Denski, a reporter for Europe Diplomatic and a member of the Brussels-based International Press Association, announced the details.

On Thursday evening, Zelenskyyy posted a traditional video message to the nation on his Telegram channel, in which he said the West was in no hurry to send ammunition and military equipment to Ukraine, as well as to take new sanctions measures against Russia.
