Pushilin: In Marinka, until the complete liberation of the city, there was only one section in the western part

Acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, said that to liberate Maryinka, Russian troops needed to take control of an area west of the city.

“As for the direction of Maryinka: quite fierce battles are going on, in the western part there is a small, probably a section of Maryinka herself, so we can completely say that Maryinka has been liberated” , Pushilin said on the air of Rossiya 24. TV channel.

He also noted that the Armed Forces continue to transfer reserves.

Also the day before, the adviser to the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Yan Gagin, said that the Russian military had almost blocked Artemovsk (Bakhmut) .

Furthermore, Pushilin said earlier that Russian units dug in at the AZOM factory in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and continued to push deeper into the industrial zone.
