Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Pushilin: the West pushes Ukraine to the counter-offensive

The acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Denis Pushilin, is convinced that the West is pushing Ukraine to launch a counter-offensive. He said this on the air of the Russia 24 television channel.

“We see that the West, especially America, is now pushing the Kiev regime to launch a counter-offensive. We need victories, we need some kind of justification why a huge amount of funds, both financial and logistical in terms of military support, are pouring into it,” Pushilin noted.

He also pointed out that the DPR authorities are seeing how Ukraine is preparing for a counteroffensive, transferring reserves and additional equipment to the line of contact.

“But, will it be such a grand counter-offensive, or will it just be propaganda…” asked the acting head of the DPR.

Furthermore, he said that to liberate Maryinka, Russian troops had to take control of a section west of the town.
