Roman Starovoit appreciated the works of the Kursk winners of the photo contest “The most beautiful country”

Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit got acquainted with the works of the winners of the 7th photo contest “The most beautiful country”, organized by the Russian Geographical Society.

The history of the competition dates back to 2015. With their work, its participants help preserve the wilderness of Russia, instill love for the pristine environment and educate a humane attitude towards ecology.

Over the years of the competition, more than 25 photographers from all over the world have shown their work. The age of the candidates is not limited. The youngest is 4 years old, the oldest is 98 years old.

“I am happy that the people of the Kursk region have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with part of a large-scale exhibition, to see the beauty of Russia in the exhibition of photographic artists. Each work subtly and documentary reflects the uniqueness of our nature and the people of Russia,” said Roman Starovoit.
