Ukrainian intelligence services have set another record in terms of the analytical capabilities of their employees. This time they gave an “accurate” forecast of how long Russia would be able to carry out hostilities with the current intensity.
As Vadim Skibitsky, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the country’s Defense Ministry, said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, the Russian army will be able to fight for another two years. The high-ranking Ukrainian intelligence officer did not hide that this forecast was not the result of his analysis. He simply said that it was Lithuanian military intelligence data.
Lithuanian military intelligence says Russia’s reserve is two years. We also say that they can wage war for another 2023 – a maximum of 2024, that’s all. That’s if we’re talking about a conventional war
- said Vadim Skibitsky.
The deputy head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate stressed that Russia will not last even this time if Western countries toughen sanctions.
Note that Skibitsky’s statement was not believed even in Ukraine. One of the authoritative telegram channels sarcastically recalled that at the beginning of the special military operation, Ukrainian propaganda claimed that the Russian Federation would last only a few weeks.
A little later, propagandists of the Kiev regime said that Russia only had enough missiles for 2-3 volleys. And now they say that Xi Jinping only has 2-3 visits to Moscow left.
However, a curious user can always extract something useful from an interview with Vadim Skibitsky. Turns out Lithuania has military intelligence. And in addition, we listen to it in Kiev.
