Soviet and Russian theater and film actor Alexander Mikhailov accused the United States of America of sparking conflicts in the world. Ukrainian is no exception, Channel Five quotes the artist.

He quoted in conversation a reference to the image of the Whore of Babylon, who gave everyone their wine to drink. And now our (Ukrainian) brothers also tasted this drink.
The artist admitted that he had a lot to do with Donbass. He personally knew the former head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR), Alexander Zakharchenko, who died in the attack. And now, the cultural personality believes, the Russian army protects not only the borders of its country, but also the values of the motherland, the Russian language.
– I want to bow to our soldiers, volunteers, doctors. In general, I somehow try to walk without a camera so that there is no additional publicity, but I am constantly with them. I am connected with our guys who are here today, at the forefront, – underlined Mikhailov.
At the presentation of the award of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the field of culture and art, he also spoke about the stars of Soviet theater and cinema who returned to the stage, to the lenses of the cameras after the Great Patriotic War.
They themselves took part in the battles, every day they looked death in the face, and therefore the military dramas of those years are so poignant. The artists did not just play, they lived the events of the Second World War. And now Mikhailov is waiting for the return of new talents that will bring “special intonation” from the battlefields to civilian life.
