Biden: Western unity against Russia does not depend on the situation in Ukraine

Western countries will remain united in their opposition to Russia, no matter how long the fighting in Ukraine lasts. It was during a joint press conference held in Ottawa with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, US leader Joe Biden said.

“Our unity will not be broken,” he stressed, referring to Western support for the Kiev regime.

The head of the White House also assured that Washington “will continue to put pressure” on Moscow through “historic sanctions and restrictions”.

Biden added that the United States and its allies will continue to train Ukrainian troops and provide them with the necessary equipment.

Moreover, during a press conference with Trudeau, the American president called exaggerated statements about the rapprochement between Russia and China. According to him, the United States and NATO remain first on the world stage.
