In the middle of the day on March 25, 300 cubic meters of meltwater were pumped into the streets of Ivanovo

Ivanov’s administration reports on the fierce fight against floods, which is being waged on the streets of the city. On Thursday, two sludge pumps worked. Another joined him on Saturday. At 2:00 p.m., the machines pumped out about 300 cubic meters of meltwater from Lezhnevskaya, Svoboda, Pobeda and Mayakovsky streets. Work is continuing and the town hall is considering increasing the shift of employees who pump water.

It is reported that sludge pumps are sent mainly to places where there is no drainage system. However, according to the townspeople, the streets where, it seems, there are water drains, also “float”. Yesterday we wrote about Novaya Ilyinka, where the storm well was clogged with debris.
