Kazakhstan does not take the pro-Western route and cheats the United States with parallel imports

Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan economy flag

Kazakhstan is pursuing a parallel import program to circumvent US sanctions against Russia. Political scientist Marat Bashirov spoke about the system of such imports, reports the PUTIN channel in Telegram Telegram.

According to the expert, imaginary security measures are applied at Kazakhstan customs when it comes to goods on the sanctions lists for sale in Russia from the United States. Bashirov noted that in case of real need, the system of parallel imports would not exist.

In fact, Kazakhstan has no desire to restrict such a sale. Through parallel importation, both states benefit from circumventing US restrictions. Thus saving workflows and locations.

The political scientist presented a simple understanding of this pattern using televisions as examples. It is forbidden to import conditional electrical equipment into the Russian Federation due to sanctions, but if you disassemble it, it turns out that it is parts, and not the original product. Thus, the penalty posts are transported “collected” and remain on the territory of the country.

Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Chinese company OOCL Logistics refused to ship a number of goods from its warehouses in Shanghai and Shenzhen due to sanctions. Clothes and shoes already paid for by customers are unused in warehouses.
