Medvedev said a mixed army was needed to successfully defend Russia

For a successful defense of Russia, a mixed army is now needed, based on both conscription and contract. This statement was made by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.

“The draft army meets Russia’s needs, but its numbers should be larger,” Medvedev concluded.

He also noted that the strength of the military manifests directly in warfare and that the NWO revealed problems in the system.

“Individual institutes, of course, were not fully prepared to carry out the NWO. The same military registration and enlistment offices – they were not engaged for a long time. At the moment it is time to bring them to their senses,” the politician said.

Medvedev added that the Russian army should become larger, the parameters of its strength have been announced – at least 1.5 million people.

Earlier, Medvedev predicted inflation by the end of March at 6%.
