Medvedev spoke about downloading pirated content

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev supported the downloading of content from Western copyright holders, which became inaccessible after they left the country. The politician said this in an interview with Russian media, an excerpt from which he published on his Telegram channel.

“You know what? Look for the right pirates and download them,” Medvedev said.

The Vice-President of the Security Council added that he himself would “disperse” the content of Western copyright holders who left Russia on the web in order to cause them “maximum damage so that they go bankrupt”.

Earlier, Medvedev said a mixed army was needed to successfully defend Russia.
