The best personalities of culture and art were awarded in the Tver region

“The Upper Volga region is famous for its talented and creative people who have created the richest cultural heritage in the region,” Governor Igor Rudenya said.

March 25 is Cultural Worker Day in Russia. On the eve of the holiday, a solemn event dedicated to the date of the holiday was held at the Tver Regional Academic Philharmonic. Governor Igor Rudenya sent his greetings to industry representatives.

“The Upper Volga region is famous for its talented and creative people who have created the richest cultural heritage in the region. Today, you and your colleagues multiply this unique heritage, making an invaluable contribution to the preservation and popularization of centuries-old traditions and the spiritual and moral values ​​of our people. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your calling. I am sure that you will continue to maintain a high level of professional excellence and implement many bright and meaningful projects, thanks to which the Tver region will strengthen the status of one of the recognized cultural centers of Russia”, the message congratulations on behalf of Igor Rudeni said.

At the solemn event, cultural workers of the Upper Volga region received awards.

Members of the Tver regional branch of the Writers’ Union of Russia Evgeny Novikov, Vladimir Yurinov and Vladimir Kruss were awarded in the nomination “For their achievements in the field of literature”.

“For someone doing any type of work, price means a lot. For creatives, it is important that their work receives a response. It pleases, inspires and stimulates further work,” said Evgeny Novikov.

For her significant contribution to the preservation and development of culture in the Upper Volga region, Valentina Urakcheeva, artistic director of the Toropets Regional House of Culture, received the certificate of honor from the governor of the Tver region.

The gratitude of the governor of the Tver region was awarded to the teacher of the Tver College of Culture named after NA Lvova Anna Ivanova, teacher of the preparatory department of the Andreev Children’s Music School in Bezhetsk Lyudmila Ksenofontova, head of the information and methodological department of the Krasnokholmsk Central Library Olga Novozhilova.

As part of the solemn ceremony, the winners of the Prize of the Governor of the Tver Region in the field of culture and art in 2022 were also awarded.

In the nomination “For works of art” diplomas were awarded to a member of the Tver regional branch of the “Union of Artists of Russia”, to Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Nikolai Chuvakhin and to a teacher of the Tver Art College named after AG Venetsianova Ludmila Gurina.

In the nomination “For achievements in theatrical art” in the category “Acting work”, the winners were the artist-puppeteer of the Tver Puppet Theater Sofya Khoroshavina, the main dramatist-master of the stage of the Tver Young Spectators Theater Daria Astafieva and the artist of the Tver Academic Drama Theater Daria Ostashevskaya. Yulia Dmitrieva, lighting designer of the Tver Academic Drama Theater, received a laureate diploma in the Theater Designer category.

In the nomination “For the development and preservation of folk art”, the artistic director of the Ostashkova Regional House of Culture Svetlana Pavlova, a teacher at the Tver Music College named after MP Mussorgsky Yevgeny Solovyov, an amateur craftsman from the region of Tver by Vyshny Volochok Svetlana Tomilina.

The winners of the nomination “For long-term fruitful service to national culture” are the dramatist, main stage master of the Theater for Young Spectators, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Galina Lebedeva, members of the regional branch from Tver of the Union of Artists of Russia and Honored Artists of the Russian Federation Nelli Pyatysheva and Armen Babaev.

“I have been teaching at Tver Polygraphic College for many years. People of my age need to give the experience they have accumulated. A person leaves, but he must leave a mark, because the relationship between the old and the young generation is very important. It is necessary to culturally and aesthetically educate future generations,” Armen Babayev stressed.

In the nomination “For the work of young authors and performers”, the winners were the artist-puppeteer of the Tver Puppet Theater Mikhail Arefiev and the artist of the Tver Regional Academic Drama Theater Nikita Bakhmetiev.

The team of the municipal educational program “Voice of Russia” of the recreation center “Istoki” of the city of Tver received diplomas of winners in the nomination “For works for children and young people”.

The deputy director of creative work of the Tver Theater for young spectators, Anna Brusova, received a diploma of winner in the nomination “For the best innovative project in the field of culture and art”.

The winners of the nomination “For achievements in the field of musical art” were awarded to the professor of Tver Music College by the name of MP Mussorgsky Mikhail Kalugin, professor of Children’s Art School No. 1 Kimr Natalya Sidorova and teacher of the Konakovo Natalya Makhnovskaya Boys and Youth Choir School.

The winners of the nomination “For achievements in the field of cultural and leisure activities” are the collective of the House of Culture of the city of Rzhev, the leader of the folk vocal ensemble “Wings” of the College of Culture of Tver named after NA Lvova Natalya Kalinenko and the staff of the Tver Regional House of Folk Art.

The creative team of the Tver State United Museum and the team of the Tver Regional Picture Gallery were winners of the nomination “For achievements in the field of museum affairs”.

Diplomas of winners in the nomination “For achievements in the field of librarianship” were awarded to the main methodologist of the Tver Children’s and Family Reading Center named after AS Pushkin Denis Lukin, librarian of the Podgorodnenskaya Rural Library of the Toropetsky district Olga Vladimirova, chief librarian of the Bekrenskaya rural library of the Krasnokholmsky district Svetlana Rozova.

In the nomination “For achievements in the field of educational activity”, the winners were the teacher of the Children’s Music School of Russian Instrumental Art in Bezhetsk Victoria Dyadyushko, the teacher of the Tver College of Culture nominated from after NA Lvova Natalya Rybakova.

At the end of the festive evening, the State Chamber Orchestra of Jazz Music named after Oleg Lundstrem will perform for the guests.
