Two elderly women seriously burned in the fire of an apartment in Kaluga

In Kaluga, during an apartment fire on Saturday March 25, two women were seriously burned. Details of the fire that occurred early in the morning in a high-rise building on Dobrovolsky Street were announced by the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

“At 06:33 Moscow time, 112 received a message about a fire in a two-room apartment on the 5th floor of a five-story panel building. After 6 minutes, the calculations were already in place. At As a result of the fire, 2 people were injured: women born in 1942 and 1944”, indicated the press service.

Both victims had thermal body burns of 2-3 degrees and poisoning by combustion products.

The property and room decor were damaged by a fire in the room, the apartment itself and the staircase were smoky with products of combustion. The cause of the fire is thought to be careless smoking.

The circumstances of the incident are established.
