Al-Kass TV cameras monitored a verbal altercation between Al-Sadd player Akram Afif and Al-Duhail coach Hernan Crespo and his technical staff after the end of the first half of the match between the two teams in the Ooredoo Cup semi-finals.

According to the published video, Afif pointed to the Al-Duhail coach to silence, and the altercation developed into what appeared to be a simple clash between the players of the two teams.

The pioneers of social networking sites differed between demanding that Akram Afif be punished for his mistake against the competitor’s coach, and those who believed that the coaching staff of Al-Duhail Club deliberately provoked the player on the line during the match.

The decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the Qatar Football Association is awaiting a decision on the events of the match.

Al-Duhail reached the final match of the cup after overcoming Al-Sadd with three goals to one in the meeting that brought them together today, at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium in the semi-final round.

Al-Duhail set a date in the final scheduled for next Tuesday at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, with Umm Salal, the qualifier at the expense of Al-Arabi, with two goals to one in the second semi-final, which was held at the same time.

Al-Duhail owes his victory to his Tunisian star, Ferjani Sassi, who scored two goals in the 45 + 1 and 55 minutes and provided the pass for the third goal to substitute Ismail Mohamed in the 89th minute, while the Moroccan Ayoub Al Kaabi scored the only goal for Al Sadd in the 24th minute.
