A Tu-141 Swift drone exploded in Kireevsk, Tula region

It was preliminary established that a Tu-141 Strizh drone, packed with explosives, exploded in Kireevsk in the Tula region. Emergency services are currently on site. Fragments, presumably from an unmanned vehicle, were found near the site of the explosion.

  • Earlier, in Kireevsk, Tula region, a Tu-141 “Strizh” stuffed with explosives was detonated, – the Shot Telegram channel reports, citing an informed source.

Earlier it was learned that several residential buildings were damaged as a result of the blast. Two people were injured by shrapnel. According to the regional authorities, there is now no threat to the safety of the population and infrastructure.

As previously reported, the Soviet Tu-141 Strizh drone, which is in service with Ukraine, served as an ammunition carrier in the crashed drone near Kaluga. It was used in attacks on military airfields in Engels and Ryazan.
