Former director of the Taganka Theater Nikolai Dupak has died

Actor and former director of the Taganka Theater Nikolai Lukyanovich Dupak has died aged 102. He was born in 1921 in the Donetsk region, after school he entered the theater school in Rostov-on-Don.

After the Great Patriotic War, he served in the theater. Stanislavsky. At the Taganka Theater, he became director in 1963.

Under his leadership, several cultural centers were also built in Moscow. Among them are the Vysotsky Cultural Center-Museum and the House of the Russian Diaspora named after him. Solzhenitsyn.

Earlier, The Eastern Heraldin Kaliningrad reported that Russian skier Pavel Krotov died at the age of 30. He participated in two Winter Olympiads, OI-2014 and OI-2018. Pavel died on Saturday March 25, the cause of death is being established.
