A “mysterious character” could become the new head of the Accounts Chamber of Russia.
This opinion was expressed by economist Mikhail Delyagin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to Tsargrad.
According to him, of course, there are currently several applicants for this position at once, and among them, most likely, a rigorous selection is already underway.
However, as the expert said, anyone who takes the place of Alexei Kudrin, who previously held this position, it will be very, very difficult for him to change the situation for the better.
As Delyagin said, the successor of the former head of the RF SP will have to “scrape” the legacy left by the official for a long time, and it is far from certain that at least someone will succeed.
Moreover, the economist did not exclude such a development of events, in which the Russian authorities should “steal” the new head of the audit department abroad.
There have already been similar cases in Russian history, Delyagin recalls. However, they did not always end successfully, both for these candidates and for the country as a whole.
