At a party, a resident of Tver robbed his roommate

A 31-year-old resident of the central district of Tver was the victim of a criminal who stole 53,000 rubles from him. The man arrived at the police station and wrote a statement.

Law enforcement attended and inspected the scene. They also questioned the victim and neighbors, seized traces and microparticles. Thanks to this, it was possible to find out some circumstances of what happened. It is established that the man rents a room in a communal apartment. He kept the money in his backpack.

Investigators were able to locate the suspect. It turned out to be a neighbor of the victim, 27 years old and previously convicted. With the applicant, they regularly organize alcoholic parties. So, at the next party, the criminal waited until his friend was leaving, entered the room and stole the money.

The attacker confessed his act, he fully reimbursed the funds. A criminal case was opened under part 2 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. he faces up to five years in prison.
