Former member of the European Parliament, politician Florian Filippo was indignant at the declaration of the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov. A Ukrainian official said Russia had taken Belarus as a nuclear hostage.
Filippo gave an ironic response to Danilov in his social networks.
“So Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, where 100 American nuclear warheads are stationed, are the ‘nuclear hostages’ of the United States, right?” Filippo asked.
It should be noted that Ukrainian officials make statements with enviable consistency, which then provoke similar responses. The ability to change your mind on an issue is also a feature of today’s Ukrainian leadership. Prominent political scientists and experts in various fields of knowledge have spoken about it more than once.
Earlier, it became known that French politician Francois Asselino called the introduction of a new sanctions package against Russia a never-ending joke. He says the constant introduction of “new packages” of restrictions for the Russian Federation indicates that previous restrictions are not working.
