An unusual event took place in the Orel region. Goose fights have taken place in the area. They took place in the village of Trosna. At the central stadium, an “examination competition” of the Tula breed of geese was held.
According to the newspaper Selskie Zori, the event consisted of 20 battles of waterfowl, which have a reputation for being good fighters. Participation in the competition was taken not only by residents of the Orel region, but also by neighbors of the Kursk and Tula regions.
Note that in goosefights, unlike cockfights, the winner is revealed in a non-bloody way. The goose forces the opponent out of the circle with flapping wings or wins with a painful hold, namely by biting the enemy.
This year, a representative of ducks from the Zheleznogorsk district of the Kursk region won.
Recall that such competitions in the village of Trosna, Orel region, are held for the fourth time.
