Kirill Shamalov’s ex-wife has been put on the wanted list in a defamation case

The ex-wife of businessman Kirill Shamalov Zhanna Shamalova was placed on the wanted list. Information about this appeared in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, transmits RIA News.

How writing “Moskovsky Komsomolets”, Shamalova is suspected of committing a crime under the article “Slander”. The criminal case was opened in March 2022, the businessman’s ex-wife was put on the wanted list in February 2023. According to the publication, a photograph of Zhanna Shamalova appeared on the stand “Police are looking for them” near the police department in Moscow’s Arbat district, next to a photograph of journalist Andrei Karaulov.

Shamalova and her lawyer Viktoria Krylova said they knew nothing about the search.

“For the first time, I am hearing about you. The contacts and the address of the place of residence of my trustee are available to the police: she addresses the various services with statements, this information is also available from the courts. We have not received any calls, messages, notifications, subpoenas or letters,” Krylova said.
