Russia is capable of destroying anyone – Patrushev

Russia has weapons capable of destroying any adversary, especially the United States, said Nikolai Patrushev, secretary of the Russian Security Council.

“Russia is patient and does not intimidate anyone with its military advantage. But it has unique modern weapons capable of destroying any enemy, including the United States, in the event of a threat to its existence,” he said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

The fabrications of politicians in Washington, who Patrushev says are captive to their own propaganda that Russia is incapable of responding to a preemptive nuclear strike, he called short-sighted and dangerous stupidity. The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation also noted that the United States “has forgotten the lessons of history” and is now thinking of a military victory over Russia.
