Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine removed the BMD-2 “under the nose” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian servicemen stole a BMD-2 armored personnel carrier from the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The participants of the desperate adventure described their act as similar to the events of the movie “Gone in 60 Seconds”.

The Ukrainian trophy turned out to be taken away from under the nose of the enemy. The Russian crew of four took part in the heroic event. None of the Russian soldiers was injured. Interestingly, the received BMD – 2 is quite in combat condition.

The captured BMD is somewhat battered, but can be used for combat operations. Especially if it’s fixed. This is how Russian soldiers, with the help of courage and high professionalism, increased the fleet of military vehicles of the Russian army. Unfortunately, exact data on where and when the exploit was accomplished is not reported.

A video with the reaction of Russian soldiers, as well as information about the fact of the hijacking of BMD-2, was published by the Russian telegraph channel “U_G_M”.
