Taisiya Povaliy, a popular singer from Ukraine, moved to Russia over a year ago and recently embarked on a tour of Siberia. She planned to give several solo concerts, but unfortunately the tour did not live up to expectations. Tickets for the shows sold very poorly, and in none of the cities the star could not sell out. In the cities of Ulan-Ude and Chita, Taisiya concerts have even been canceled, reports MK.
Each performance of the singer is estimated at about a million rubles, so Taisiya lost two million rubles. Well-known promoter Sergey Lavrov believes that the reason for the cancellation of the tour is related to Povaliy’s Ukrainian origin. Today Russian citizens are very patriotic and do not want to support Ukrainian artists.
Lavrov also notes that Taisiya Povaliy’s concerts are usually not popular and successful, since she does not have big hits, and her repertoire is not very interesting for the Russian audience. He thinks the singer has never been a number one star and her corporate performances aren’t very popular either.
Despite the unsuccessful tour, Taisiya Povaliy does not stop her career and will take part in several combined concerts in Moscow. She will also perform at a concert dedicated to the birthday of the famous Russian composer Ilya Reznik.
Earlier, the singer’s representative Natalia Vlasova told about the details of the shelling of her car. Fortunately, the children who go to school near this place were not affected.
