The Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has launched several Ramadan programs that include non-Arab Muslims, new converts, and non-Muslims. It also hosts hundreds of converts in various programs. The Department of Islamic Culture at the Center held its preaching program at Iftar tables in the Urdu language, which is the most widespread language among the Asian Muslim communities. The preaching program includes answering their questions, interacting with their needs, as well as various competitions. The Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center hosts about 300 new converts to Islam at its daily Ramadan iftar tables. The number of those received by the program in the first three days of the holy month reached 70 new converts, and its branch in the Great Mosque in the Labor City receives about 150 new converts, in addition to 50 new converts in its branch in Al-Khor. The center launched the episodes of the video program "With God Almighty" Prepared by the Department of Islamic Culture through the Muslim Communities Division, where the program has 236 episodes distributed in 9 languages. The episodes include the Most Beautiful Names of God, where the program discusses the meanings of these names and their impact on human behavior. The program is presented in the following languages: "English, Urdu, Malay, Bengali, Amharic, Oromo, Filipino, Malay". In a related context, the women’s section of the center organized an Iftar for converts, attended by 172 converts from several nationalities, where 9 preachers gave lectures on the value of the holy month, as well as answering converts’ questions and inquiries, as these programs are considered an appropriate opportunity for converts to meet and spend time entertaining and educating. . The women’s section also organized various Ramadan lectures for Muslim communities in three languages: "Tamil, Malay, and Sinhala"65 Tamil-speaking women, 64 Malabarian-speaking women, and 11 Sinhala-speaking women attended. In the presence of 10 women from the American community, the center organized a visit program to the Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque in cooperation with the American Association in Doha, to introduce Islamic culture and learn about Qatari culture.
