Canonical UOC church burnt down in Ukraine’s Ternopil region

In the Ternopil region of Ukraine, unidentified people set fire to the church in honor of the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Kordyshev. The incident happened on the night of March 28. This was reported to the UOC.

“On the night of March 28, 2023, the church in honor of the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Kordyshev, deanery of Shumsky, diocese of Ternopil, was set on fire,” reports the UOC Telegram channel.

Additionally, the UOC noted that all of the tools that were used to set the temple on fire have been found. According to the report, unidentified people smashed a window in the temple, through which the intruders threw a flammable substance.

Earlier, the schismatics captured the last church of the Canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine. According to the UOC, the police did not attempt to interfere with supporters of the Ukrainian Orthodox Schismatic Church.
