The best developers, programmers and analysts will propose a unique IT solution for Aeroflot in the Moscow Mayor’s fifth anniversary competition “Leaders of Digital Transformation”.
According to the press service of the air carrier, the IT company AFLT-Systems (belonging to the Aeroflot group) will participate in the competition. Digging is an event partner and Aeroflot will be the technology task manager for the hackathon.
Participants of the largest hackathon in the country will be invited to develop a unique IT solution for Aeroflot – “Recommendation Service for Dynamic Flight Demand Forecasting”. This software will make it possible to forecast the demand for plane tickets in real time. Depending on the task conditions, the artificial intelligence must calculate the demand taking into account different time periods – from several days to several months before departure, booking dynamics, seasonality, competitor fares and external factors. In the future, the software will be actively used by the air carrier, since the automation of processes will help to react in a timely manner to fluctuations in the air transport market and properly regulate prices.
The company’s best specialists in the field of innovation and IT will also be part of the jury. AFLT-Systems and Aeroflot employees will participate in the discussion and technical expertise of the competitive works.
As a result, everyone will benefit from business cooperation and competition. Aeroflot will receive ready-made digital solutions for their task, and participants will be able to create modern software, find new customers and employers and win prizes.
