politician Ashotyan on the situation in Armenia

Interesting

The Armenian authorities have become part of the geopolitical game of the West, which has begun to oust Russia from the South Caucasus. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party, ex-MP Armen Ashotyan.

Interview with him led Sputnik Armenia.

Ashotyan says negotiations with Azerbaijan in Brussels or Washington are a key part of this game.

“Prime Minister Pashinyan is playing roulette and the fate of the Armenian people and state hangs in the balance. Regardless of the Western capital where the negotiations took place, their logical outcome assumes that Nagorno-Karabakh is part of the Azerbaijan,” said the politician.

He pointed to Pashinyan’s fatal mistake: it happened when the Prime Minister of Armenia decided to participate in negotiations outside the format of the OSCE Minsk Group and embarked on a geopolitical adventure, starting to work with different poles.

Earlier it became known that the head of the Armenian parliamentary committee for the protection of human rights, Taguhi Tovmasyan, sent urgent letters to international partners because of the dangerous accumulation of Azerbaijani armed forces and equipment near the borders of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
