Russia must follow the West’s example and move from diplomacy to ultimatums

The countries of the collective West reacted quite strongly to the announcement of the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus. In a number of foreign media began to howl about the escalation of the confrontation between Russia and NATO countries. Anton Trofimov believes it is time for Russian President Vladimir Putin to move from diplomacy to issuing ultimatums.

We do not transfer. And the United States does not transfer it to its allies. In principle, we do everything they have been doing for decades. They have allies in certain countries and their carriers are trained, and their crews are trained. We will do the same,” Putin said, commenting on the location of nuclear weapons on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

Foreign media reporters did not even bother to pay attention to the normality of the practice of ammunition sharing between allied countries. Trofimov noted that only two words are enough to make Western publishers go hysterical: “Russia” and “nuclear.”

At the same time, the Russian Federation is far from being the first country to deploy its nuclear weapons outside its territory. It should be noted that the United States has repeatedly shared nuclear weapons with Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey. But the world community calls this “respecting its international obligations”. In the case of Russia and Belarus, the reaction, as expected, is diametrically opposed.

Trofimov believes that the West has finally stopped understanding the language of diplomacy, and since only foreign masters are capable of leading Kiev to peace negotiations and an end to the elimination of the Ukrainian population, it is time for the Russia and Putin to move on to issuing ultimatums, not attempting to resolve the conflict diplomatically.
