According to Bloknot sources close to the Moscow mayor’s office, they “considered him suitable” as the candidate for mayor of the New People, State Duma deputy Sangadzhi Tarbaev. Initially, the party considered several possible candidates. Among them were the names of its head, the founder of the Faberlic holding, Alexei Nechaev, the former mayor of Yakutsk and State Duma deputy Sardana Avksentyeva, as well as Nechaev’s close associate and deputy speaker of the chamber bass, Vladislav Davankov. But some, it seems, were considered to have too much “status” to be whipped boys. And others are completely incomprehensible.
Sangadzhi Tarbaev, Alexei Nechaev, Sardana Avksentieva, Vladislav Davankov Tarbaev were just somewhere in the middle. He is a former KVN man who unsuccessfully resumed his career as a comedian in the covid 2020. He later criticized the quarantine restrictions applied by the country’s authorities in his video blog. The piquancy of the situation was that at the time of his speech he was not just a comedian and not even a “systemic opponent”, but the most natural official in the state. He worked as the head of the representative office in the capital of Kalmykia, which is headed by Tarbaev’s old friend in show business, a participant in fights without rules, Batu Khasikov. After the scandal broke, Tarbaev had to leave this post and go to the editors of KVN. There he was found by the New People, whose comedian successfully entered the State Duma following the results of the 2021 elections. Will the new public appearances, now in the capital elections , without bad jokes, we’ll see in the summer.

The action was called “Mironov, the homie is coming for you!” and, according to rumors, pissed him off a lot. Now Gusev is engaged in a fight against a mosque which has not yet been built in Kosino near Moscow.
Dmitry Gusev offered to distribute the lands of Russia to all enemies. Another “rival” of Sobyanin will be Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov. He is known as the penultimate “favourite” of LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who died last spring. Chernyshov, like Gusev, was also famous for odd moves like the return of the anthem “God Save the Tsar!” as official. And the young LDPR member lost the internal party struggle after Zhirinovsky’s death and could not become his successor, losing this role to the current party leader, Leonid Slutsky.
Boris Chernyshev, Zhirinovsky’s favourite, Sergei Sobyanin, will have no problem getting elected or even getting the most convincing result in such an undertaking, the experts interviewed by Bloknot are sure. But it also “creates the only risk” for the campaign.
“It will be difficult to captivate voters with an election where there is not even minimal drama. It’s clear that Sobianine will win, and he will do so in a convincing and boring fashion. So why go vote? Therefore, great hopes are certainly pinned on remote electronic voting, thanks to which the population groups controlled by the town hall will support Sobianin from their sofas, ”explains a Bloknot source in one of the analysis structures close to the presidential administration.
