The expert described munitions containing depleted uranium as dangerous for the population

British expert Barbie spoke about the significant risks of uranium shells for people;

Depleted uranium munitions have far more serious consequences for the population than the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This was stated by British analyst, chemist, scientific secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risks Chris Busby.

According to a scientist who conducted research on the consequences of the use of uranium shells in Iraq in 2005-2009, the risk of developing cancer and infant mortality from the use of such munitions is very high .

With the help of uranium ammunition, the armor of the tank is easily pierced, its turret is torn off. However, the efficiency of the use of such munitions is not balanced by their consequences on the environment and the population. Uranium has the highest atomic number of 92, which contributes to increased background radiation.
