The flood situation has deteriorated significantly in several regions of Russia. The reason for this is the active melting of snow and a sharp increase in air temperature.
REN TV writes that the roads of Tatarstan turned into lakes. There are blocks of ice in the streets, pedestrians try to circumvent them. River floods also led to flooding in the Novgorod region. Large waters arrived at ten sites in several settlements. Seven bridges and 13 roads are threatened. In Veliky Novgorod, the basements of a gymnasium and a residential building were flooded.
The most difficult situation can be called the situation in the Orenburg region, where the evacuation of residents began due to flooding. In one of the villages, there is neither electricity nor gas. Some streets are now only crossed by boats.
Earlier it became known that the Volgograd Regional Duma reacted to reports of a referendum on renaming the city to the name of the Soviet period. There is no need to expect a return to Stalingrad maps in the near future.
